Donated by Glenn Mead to the City of Corry in 1940, the property known today as Mead Park comprises 46 acres and offers picnic facilities (pavilions and individual tables), playground equipment, tennis courts, hiking trails, a 15-station Fitness Trail, basketball hoops, and pond fishing for youth ages 15 and younger. The park is maintained and programmed by the Friends of Mead Park and City of Corry with the support of many community partners. Popular annual events include Glen Mead Day in August, Cabin Feaver in winter, summertime concerts, and the drive-through light display known as the Reindeer Trail.
