Hazel Fourspring likes to be a cut above the rest. She’s a self-starter who invested in herself and opened a hair salon in hopes that she can make other people look and feel like their best selves. At the time she graduated high school, college was seen as the path to success, but Hazel took a different route. Cosmetology wasn’t a four-year degree type of profession, but she still had an interest in it. She grew up learning from her father how to cut hair, and after having five children — including daughters — she found herself finding even more joy in cutting and styling hair. So when all of her children became old enough to be in school during the day, Hazel went to Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy in Erie. There she learned the in and outs of the profession, including the chemistry and technique behind hair coloring. She now offers services for men, women, and children. Her offerings include perms, hair coloring (balayage, highlights, full color, etc.), styling, and lash extensions. Her biggest focus is always her client. She doesn’t book a lot of appointments each day knowing that she wants to give her full attention to each person she has in the chair. Her attention to detail is among her highest-sung praise. So for your next appointment, check out Shear THAIRapy. Because when you’re in one of Hazel’s chairs, it’s just that — therapy to help you feel like the best version of yourself.
