A Corry staple, The Pub is the kind of hometown bar where people sit in the same seats and everyone knows each other.

It’s the only bar in Corry that’s open on Sundays. All clubs in Corry allow smoking, so if that checks off two boxes for you, you’ll feel right at home.

The artist Kass Gonzales created the prominently displayed chalkboard art that sums up The Pub’s personality. There’s lots of fun to be had, with three pool tables, two dart boards and a variety of gambling machines, and is adjacent to Bowl-Aire, the retro go-to bowling venue open in the winter.

“The Pub has that hole-in-the-wall sense of togetherness with good vibes,” regular Nic Wilde said. “The bartenders are what make it special.

Since 1981, The Pub has been a Steelers bar, packed rows deep on Sundays during football season. While the kitchen is closed for summer, they do offer a hot dog combo meal on the cheap.

The Pub is open 3 p.m. to close every day.
