North Hills Municipal Golf Course is a public 18-hole course that opened in 1967 as a nine-hole course. It was designed by Edmund B. Ault, with the course expanded to 18 holes in 1971. Later, Bill Love redesigned ten holes in 1984. The course features a parkland-style layout with wide fairways and large greens, and it plays to a par of 71. It attracts golfers from northwestern Pennsylvania, Western New York, and Northeastern Ohio. North Hills maintains a bar and grill with daily staples and weekend specials, hosts leagues and tournaments of all sizes, and offers lessons with a PGA professional by appointment.
